Declaring War on Homelessnes

HOPE, help, and a way home, for those who are stuck on the streets.

TOGETHER WE RISE

Operation Ride Home is Operation Phoenix's maiden voyage and we declare War on Homelessness!

Currently in our pre launch phase as we introduce ourselves to the community, raise funds, collect supplies and find volunteers to help tackle one of the nations most devastating issues- one that affects hundreds of thousand of Americans every day, including many veterans!

All it takes to change the world is a dream, a plan, faith and a little teamwork! We have the first three...

Now we just need your help! Click on our "Get Involved" page to find out how YOU already have exactly what Operation Ride Home needs... cluttering up your house!

Many of those on the streets already fought for us.... Now let's fight for them.

Join Us in Building HOPE and HOMES for All

Your support enables Operation Ride Home to provide wholistic rehabilitation- skill training, supportive communities, and inovative housing solutions to veterans and others experiencing homelessness.

Our 3 Phase program:

Setting Up Success

Our 3 Phase program is designed to create a ladder to permanent success for those stuck on the streets. We not only put warm drinks in cold hands, but we provide classes, tools and support to help members find purpose in giving back to the community in a meaningful way.

Phase One

Backpacks & "Buddy Burners"

Often our first point of contact, our backpacks of compassion, give us a chance to introduce ourselves and share how we can help with Operation Ride Home, and a fresh start! We send them off with a bag of food & supplies, a "Buddy Burner" so they can make their own hot meals and drinks when it's cold, and most importantly HOPE.

Phase Two

Bicycles & Micro Campers

Bicycles provide FREE long term transportation, an essential in our society, and Micro Campers are the perfect transitional solution for those "on the go". A lightweight, portable solution to providing a place to sleep for those without one.

We also provide small tool kits that can be used for marketable skills, such as Woodworking, Knitting, Leather Working, "Street Art", Guitars, and much more.

In Phase Two, our participants will be connected with a mentor, who will help walk them through the process of starting fresh with Operation Ride Home. They will also have access to most of our free classes and life skills programs in this Phase.

We continue care at a campground on the edge of town, including  microcamper parking, food, water and supplies. The streets have a way "trapping" people in a vicious downward spiral.

We come baring Good News of HOPE!

Phase Three

Tiny Home Ownership

This is the third Phase of Operation Ride Home and requires a years participation in the program, sobriety and pitching in to help build their own tiny home, in whatever way possible!

Tiny home utility hook ups are offered in a designated community, as well as a plethora of volunteer taught classes, services, and community member run, "micro businesses".
